You are cordially invited to join us at 3 Dollar Bill on Friday, May 15, for Silk & Steel: A Fantasy Ball & Brawl.

As the name implies, this fundraising event will feature two enticing attractions happening in tandem.

Indoors, there will be an array of softer “Silk” events — including courtly dancing, photo ops, clown performances, lyra acts, and more. Outdoors will spotlight the “Steel” — armored exhibition matches, accompanied by an array of local punk and rock bands providing an electric soundtrack to the evening. Exhibitions will lead straight into a Femme Division Tournament run by The Armored League! (Separate ticket required.)

Enhance your experience by participating in activities throughout the night, such as our "Bonk Booth" (where you will have the chance to hit our fighters in the head with swords), a knightly auction for 1-on-1 training, and a real steel sword raffle.

Dressing up in your best Renaissance Faire/Fantasy Ball chic is highly encouraged! 

The mission of this fundraiser is to purchase new armor kits for Gladiators NYC, the flagship free martial arts and fitness program for Santa's Knights, a non-profit, 501(c)(3).

Event Schedule:

3:00–6:00 PM: Silk & Steel Tournament Pre-Show

An array of local punk and rock bands will provide an electric soundtrack to our pre-tournament exhibition fights. Come meet and greet our amazing fighters!

6:00–9:00 PM: Femme Division Tournament by The Armored League

Get in on the action and watch The Non-Binary Ninja defend their title in the ring.

10:00 PM–12:00 AM: Silk & Steel Fantasy Ball

Be whisked away to an evening of courtly dancing, photo ops, clown performances, lyra acts, and more. Participate in our “Bonk Booth," knightly training auction, and sword raffle for some extra fun!

12:00–4:00 AM: Silk & Steel Contemporary Afterparty

Join us for an absolutely electric afterparty. We will be switching over to modern tunes and amping up the nightclub vibes to end off an unforgettable night.
